From Our Pastor
With much gratitude and prayer from our parish community, I am happy to introduce to you all our new homebound ministry coordinator, Julie Olsen.
Homebound ministry is such an important work of bringing the Spirit alive in our parish. The focus of this ministry is to ensure we as Christians are caring for those who are most in need of our parishioners, particularly Sacramentally, for instance care/visits for the homebound, those in nursing homes, those needing anointing before surgery, the elderly who need a visit from the community, etc. Such a fulfilling ministry and I am so please that Julie discerned the call to serve our parish community. Thank you Julie!
Her contact information, if you have a loved one who is in need of a visit is: firstname.lastname@example.org and her number 794-1688
Please reach out to her and thank her stepping forward to serve those who are in need.
With much gratitude,
Father Ben Uhlenkott

Who is Jesus?
Jesus means in Hebrew: "God saves." At the annunciation, the angel Gabriel gave him the name Jesus as his proper name, which expresses both his identity and his mission. Since God alone can forgive sins, it is God who, in Jesus his eternal Son made man, "will save his people from their sins". in Jesus, God recapitulates all of his history of salvation on behalf of men.
